Ed Wood – Senior Technical Adviser.
Former Chief Designer for Williams Formula One. Started in 1987 as a mechanic in F1 motorcycles, Superbikes and MotoGP until 1990 when he went on to the TWR Jaguar Group C and Le Mans cars. After picking up his two degrees he became a R&D Engineer for Ferrari until 2000 when he left to become Senior Development Engineer at Renault F1. In 2003 he became Chief Designer for Prodrive until joining Williams as Chief Designer in March 2006, leaving the team in May 2018. In July 2019 he joined ODQA Renewable Energy Technologies, a partnership between clean energy entrepreneurs, world-renowned scientists, Oxford Sciences Innovation and the University of Oxford developing next-generation solar systems for clean industrial heat and power.
