Callum Anderson MP visits Carnot

The Carnot team were delighted to host our local Member of Parliament Callum Anderson, on a visit to our Milton Keynes Test site.

Just over a year ago, Carnot moved from Hitchin, to the current site in Bletchley, Milton Keynes. When selecting the best location to support our growth, we explored every major town and city in an arc stretching from Cambridge to Swindon. After an extensive search, we selected Bletchley as the ideal place and in the last month, committed to doubling our footprint.

The Carnot team shared these experiences with Callum and provided insights on how other similar companies could be encouraged to establish the next generation of businesses in the area. Callum is already championing such initiatives including like the Bletchley Investment Taskforce.

It was also very interesting to hear more about Callum’s insight to his role working in the Department for Science, Innovation & Technology, especially his work alongside Patrick Vallance.

A huge thanks as well to Yvette Lamidey, who plays a pivotal role in the local innovation community around Milton Keynes.

The Carnot team are very excited to continue working closely with Callum over the coming years and look forward supporting his work in flying the flag for Bletchley.
